Prospero Teaching are looking for a dedicated and passionate SEMH teacher to join a welcoming SEN school in Walsall.

As a SEMH teacher, you will be responsible for providing tailored support and guidance to students with emotional and behavioural difficulties.The school focus on pupils aged 5 - 19, who have a range of complex needs associated with autism and learning disabilities, including complex communication, sensory and behavioural needs associated with their disabilities.As the SEMH teacher you will need to have:

  • QTS - ECTs are welcomed.
  • Experience is an advantage however a passion for working with SEND children will also be considered.
  • You be confident in planning engaging learning tailored to the individual needs of pupils
  • You will be able to implement behaviour management strategies, and foster a supportive learning environment.
  • Assess, monitor and record pupils progress
