- Responsible for overseeing and managing the purchasing strategy and operations
- Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers and internal departments to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers
- Establish a system to qualify and evaluate vendors
- Implement agile supply chain practices
- Improve the contract review and planning process
- Manage a team of Buyers and Administrators, improve skills and performance and coach to support growth and development.
- In depth experience working in a Purchasing Manager role or similar
- Previously worked within the manufacturing industry
- Strong leadership skills
