We are seeking a Purchasing Manager for a manufacturing organization in Walsall on a permanent basis.
This leadership role involves overseeing procurement activities and developing purchasing strategies.

The salary for this position is dependent on experience, with working hours from Monday to Friday.

We are partnered with a manufacturing organisation in Walsall who are looking for a Purchasing Manager to join them on a permanent basis. The Purchasing Manager is a leadership position, responsible for all procurement activity, operation of the purchasing functions and strategy. Responsible for overseeing and managing the purchasing strategy and operations
Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers and internal departments to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services
Build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers
Establish a system to qualify and evaluate vendors
Implement agile supply chain practices
Improve the contract review and planning process
Manage a team of Buyers and Administrators, improve skills and performance and coach to support growth and development.

Purchasing ManagerEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

In depth experience working in a Purchasing Manager role or similar
Previously worked within the manufacturing industry
Strong leadership skills
