Technical Sales Administrator / Designer

Our client is a leading supplier within the construction industry for both retail and trade customers. Due to continued growth of the business, they are now looking to recruit a Technical Sales Administrator / Designer to work with their sales team. You will have experience in CAD, Solidworks or similar as you will be designing / amending drawings daily BUT you must also be happy communicating with prospective clients who call in to discuss their quotes. This is a sales support and designing role with NO cold calling.
Technical Sales Administrator / Designer Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming enquiries from existing and prospective customers across our range of markets.
- Providing and/or following up quotations with customers.
- Enter customer orders onto the sales order processing system.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure orders are fulfilled successfully.
- Raising purchase orders with external suppliers.
- After training, use SolidWorks 3D CAD software to design customer requirements.
Key skills and qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Strong numeracy skills
- Experience with SolidWorks 3D CAD software (or similar)
- Good administration skills paying particular attention to detail
