Located in Walsall, West Midlands, you will be working at the company's newest advanced manufacturing site, a flagship centre that has seen an investment of around £4.7 million into state-of-the-art facilities.
What You Will Do:
- Act as the site interface between New Product Development (NPD) and production, ensuring smooth transitions of products from concept to launch.
- Coordinate factory trials and guarantee legal compliance, food safety, and adherence to customer specifications.
- Be an active member of Gate and Activity NPD meetings, contributing valuable insights.
- Manage sample requests and fulfilment, including nutritional, microbiological, and allergenic sampling.
- Lead the generation and maintenance of Factory Specifications, Quality Attribute Standards, and Customer Specifications.
- Provide operations with the support needed to effectively launch new products.
What You Will Bring:
- A Food related HND, Intermediate Food Safety Level 3, Intermediate HACCP Level 3, and an Internal auditing qualification.
- Proven experience and knowledge in food process technology and/or the food industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook, including the use of graphs and data.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
