We recruiting on behalf of a busy engineering based company based in Bilston for an FLT/Overhead crane operative to work in a busy manufacturing environment
Job Role
- Working in a engineering environment
- To check goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and faults/damages.
- Loading and unloading of vehicles
- Assisting with the movement of sheet metal around the factory.
- Storing items in relevant sections.
- Packing & assembly goods in boxes.
- Maintaining a clean working environment in yard and shop floor.
- Ensure all stock movement is recorded correctly.
- Forklift truck counter balance driving
Experience/Requirements
- Previous working experience in engineering/sheet metal environment is essential
- Must be open to flexible start times.
- Laser operating experience would be advantageous
- FLT Counter balance licence is essential
- Goods in/out experience
- Good communication skills liaising with other departments.
- Ability to use own initiative and prioritise workload
- Attention to detail
- Comfortable with manual handling.
The Package
- 12 week temporary to permanent contract.
- £13.20 starting rate which will be reviewed after the probation period
- On site parking.
