Bennett and Game are working with a well-respected haulage business looking to add a Transport Planner to the team as they continue to grow as a business. As a business they specialise in supplying services to the Rail, Construction and Engineering sectors.
Transport Planner Job Overview- Commercial awareness and able to provide high service levels to clients.
- Prioritising workload to complete all tasks in a timely and concise manner.
- Transport planning and scheduling.
- Taking phone calls and dealing with general enquiries, customer quotations via email.
- Developing business with clients and maximising opportunities to ensure all available trailers have loads.
- Input of data including entering/updating job files maintaining our transport planning system(Fleet Wizard)
- Delivering good customer service consistently.
- Ensuring the drivers and hauliers provide adequate levels of service.
- Liaise with drivers and driver management.
- Other general department duties and any other tasks as deemed reasonable for the effective running of the department.
07:30 to 17:00 Monday - Friday
33k plus monthly performance bonus (after 3x months) (equivalent to circa 10k pa at present at current rate of performance)
