My client is currently looking to recruit a tenacious and ambitious National Accounts Manager to join our growing Commercial Team. Reporting into the Sales Director you will be accountable for a number of accounts including a major Grocery Retailer, high street accounts and discounters for Greeting Cards Gift packaging, Calendars & Dairies
Responsibilities
- To set the growth strategy for your key accounts each year
- To work with the Range & Product Manager to produce a range for your customer and submit range proposals for each everyday and seasonal range review.
- To propose pricing for accounts and products to reach profitability targets.
- To present and propose new Calendars & Dairies Ranges annually
- To track key KPI’s for each account & propose actions to improve performance
- To prepare forecasts for accounts annually and review quarter with actions for any risks to forecasts
- To attend Trade shows and represent the business
- To actively look for new sales opportunities Â
- Manage & build relationships with your customer’s buying & merchandising colleagues
Skills and Experience Required
- 3-5 years in account management or buying
- Good administration, time management and organisational skills
- Individual keen to develop a career in Sales /National Account Management
