Senior Quantity Surveyor

JOB TITLE: SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

LOCATION: WALTHAM ABBEY (GREATER LONDON)

SALARY: 80,000 - 85,000

Cerberus UK are currently working with a key client who specialising in drylining and whitewall installation. Specialising in data centres, cinemas, shopping centres, schools, student accommodations, and other high spec commercial and residential projects. They have a strong reputation for excellence and deliver high quality projects across Greater London and surrounding areas.

They are currently looking to expand their winning team and are looking for a experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with 10 plus years of Drylining background to join the team on a full time basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee all commercial aspects of drylining projects from inception to completion.
• Prepare and monitor project cost esitmates, labour and material budgets and other project related reports.
• Identify and price variations, agree rates with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
• Prepare and submit interim and final accounts
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress, identify cost savings, provide guidance to site teams and resolve technical queries
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, industry regulations, and company standards on uncompromising quality, best practices and H&S requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, with a strong focus on drylining projects from a subcontractor background
• Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g JCT)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in construction software such as Excel, Bluebeam, and other similar packages
