We are seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join our team, focusing on customer retention and maximising sales opportunities within our existing customer base. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in business-to-business account management, who is adept at networking and eager to drive sales growth through effective account management.
Day-to-day of the role:- Manage customer accounts to maximise retention and minimise losses, ensuring the delivery of optimum solutions at all times.
- Generate Gross Profit from machine sales through renewals, additions, and new business to meet and exceed GP targets.
- Maintain and expand the operating machine base by minimising losses and adding new operated machines.
- Conduct quarterly meetings with key accounts, providing comprehensive reports and management information.
- Take proactive steps to secure customer accounts, including extending contracts and optimising pricing strategies across services.
- Handle customer queries and complaints, ensuring issues are resolved satisfactorily by liaising with service, operations, and accounts departments.
- Engage in regular networking to develop further sales opportunities and manage all customer interactions within the territory.
- Report weekly on sales performance against targets and other KPIs, and present quarterly business/sales plans.
- A degree with a minimum grade of 2:2.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in business-to-business Account Management.
- A proven track record of achievement in professional or extracurricular activities.
- Strong communication and social skills.
- Must possess a driving licence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
