We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced CNC Laser/CNC Router Operator to work for our well-established and professional client based in Cheshunt. Working within a small friendly team, the successful candidate will be required to load CAD drawings and operate CNC machines. The role will also require a support function to the cutting team where cutting and fabrication is happening alongside CNC work. This is a full-time permanent position working from 7am - 5pm Monday - Friday with overtime hours available to meet the demands of the business. This offers an attractive salary of £30,000-£35,000 (negotiable depending on experience).
Duties:
- Operate CNC Laser and Router Machinery
- Load CAD drawings onto machine
- Received instructions and orders from the sales department and trade counter team
- Communicate with the warehouse staff on stock levels and orders
- Assist and work alongside cutting and fabrication team
- Work to tight deadlines and timeframes
- Ensure that an acceptable product quality level is maintained and quality documentation is filled in accurately.
- Be reliable with good levels of housekeeping
Experience:
- Experience of CAD Drawings
- Experience of operating a CNC Laser/Router machine
- Excellent communication skills
