About the Role:

As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of electrical systems within social housing properties. Your duties will include:

  • Conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR)
  • Completing remedial and reactive electrical work
  • Undertaking planned electrical upgrades and rewires
  • Responding to call-outs and emergencies
  • Working on a variety of domestic properties and communal areas
  • Utilizing a company-provided PDA and laptop for job instructions and reporting

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 (or equivalent)
  • City & Guilds 2391 Test and Inspection (or equivalent)
  • City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Own hand tools, power tools, and a calibrated multimeter (preferred)
  • Proven experience in carrying out EICRs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working within social housing (desirable)

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 am 4:30 pm (37.5 hours per week)
  • Overtime and weekend work may be required to meet client needs and targets
  • Participation in an out-of-hours rota (1 week in 4 for North London & Herefordshire)
