This Linguistics Teaching Assistant position would suit a charismatic graduate who has previous experience working with children who have special educational needs and has the skills to demonstrate a passion for SEN. You should possess an infectious passion for learning that will help create a similar understanding of the importance of education in your students. 

In this Linguistics Teaching Assistant post you will be moving throughout the school to match demand. By working with the Inclusion Manager and class teachers, you will monitor and forward the academic, social, and personal progression of pupils who speak 'English as an Additional Language'. 

The experienced SENCO will teach you about the excellent provision in place for SEN pupils, and you will deliver support to these pupils and help them make progress in academic, social, and emotional aspects. This Speech and Language Teaching Assistant position involves providing pupils with the extra support they need to feel confident in the classroom by reinforcing their knowledge in small groups or on a 1:1 basis.
