We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiasticLearning Support Assistantto join avibrant secondary school inCheshunt. The role is to work on afull-time permanent contract.The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young people and supporting them to achieve their best in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with additional learning needs
- Assist with classroom management and ensure a positive learning environment
- Work closely with teaching staff to implement tailored support strategies
- Help students develop social and emotional skills
- Support students with both academic tasks and personal development
- Assist in the preparation and organization of learning resources and activities
Key Requirements:
- Experience of working with young people, particularly in an educational setting (desirable)
- A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting students
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A commitment to helping students reach their full potential
