Group Recruitment Coordinator 12-Month Maternity Cover

A prestigious nationwide fruit and vegetable wholesale company, renowned for its family-run ethos, is seeking a dedicated Group Recruitment Coordinator for a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This role offers a unique chance to be part of a close-knit team, contributing to the continued success of a well-established business.


Role Overview:

As the Group Recruitment Coordinator, you will be pivotal in sourcing and selecting candidates for operational roles across the Group, including any Head Office vacancies. This role requires close collaboration with the Management team to understand and fulfil resourcing needs promptly and efficiently, ensuring exceptional service to both the business and candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

- Liaise with the Management team to identify recruitment needs.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to create accurate job descriptions and advertisements.
- Advertise roles internally and externally through various channels, including job boards, the company website, and social media.
- Utilise LinkedIn and other tools to actively source top candidates for niche roles.
- Conduct recruitment interviews in line with budgeted numbers and recruitment policy.
- Manage a range of vacancies across the Group, including Transport, Warehouse, Depots, and Office positions.
- Screen applications, sift CVs, and conduct telephone screenings to provide a shortlist of candidates for hiring managers.
- Manage the candidate experience, including arranging interviews, conducting assessments, and providing feedback to all applicants.
- Convey offers, ensuring correct approvals for salaries or rates offered.
- Ensure the HR Administrator has all necessary paperwork/information to complete onboarding and Right to Work checks.
- Utilise the Hireful ATS system to create and maintain a database of appropriately skilled candidates.
- Support the Group Recruitment Manager with recruitment events such as open days and recruitment fairs.
- Drive new and existing recruitment strategies.

Skills and Experience Required:

- Extensive experience as an Internal Recruiter or Recruitment Consultant within the FMCG sector or running an Industrial Desk.
- Proven ability to source and select candidates for a variety of roles.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using recruitment tools such as LinkedIn and ATS systems.
- Ability to travel to various locations within the Group for on-site interviews.
