Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-set lesson plans in the absence of teaching staff
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies
- Provide support to students as needed, helping them stay focused and engaged
- Liaise with teaching staff and other colleagues to ensure continuity of learning
- Undertake additional administrative duties when required
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with young people doing a similar position
- Be confident, approachable, and able to build positive relationships with students
- Possess strong communication and classroom management skills
- Be proactive, adaptable, and calm under pressure
- Have a genuine interest in education and supporting student learning
- A degree or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential
