Job Description

Are you a passionate Maths Teacher dedicated to inspiring the next generation of mathematicians? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Our client school in Waltham Cross is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join them in January 2025. Under the former Ofsted rated guidelines, the school was rated ‘Good’ where they noted that ‘Lessons are calm as pupils engage constructively with their learning. There are strong professional relationships and a bond of trust between teachers and pupils.’ Their mission is to create well-rounded individuals. This is long-term roles. 

Maths Teacher - Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Maths curriculum
  • Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources
  • Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school
  • The Maths Teacher must plan and deliver engaging maths lessons to students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback to students.

Maths Teacher - Qualifications:

  • QTS Status and enhanced up-to-date DBS.
  • Bachelor's degree in a maths-related field.
  • Teaching experience in mainstream Maths at secondary level.
  • A Maths Teacher withStrong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Passion for inspiring young minds.
