Scheme Manager - Broxborne
A succesfull housing association are recruiting for a Scheme manager for their 16 bedded supported accomodation in Broxbourne. The team offer a trauma-informed, safe environment that is person-centred and supports homeless individuals to access the help they need. This could include support to find move-on accommodation, claim benefits, counselling or signposting to specialist agencies for support with things like drug and alcohol addictions.We are excited to recruit a Scheme Manager with the right values and behaviours who can encourage and nurture a positive workplace culture based on respect and dignity for those experiencing homelessness.Our values are:

About the roleAs a Scheme Manager, you will lead a team and be responsible for overseeing support, advice and assistance to people who are/have been living on the streets ensuring individuals are able to access and maintain a safe and secure home of their own.We are looking for someone who has:
- Knowledge of relevant legislation in relation to homelessness, housing and the equalities act
- Understanding of the multiple and complex needs experienced by homeless people
- Previous experience of working in services for people experiencing homelessness
- Previous experience of managing others, including supervisions.
