About the Deputy Care Manager Role
Working closely with the Home Manager, you will play an essential part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and a nurturing, high-quality environment for both residents and staff.
Deputy Care Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing administrative tasks such as staff training, inductions, and appraisals
- Managing customer service and enquiry handling
- Assisting with recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new staff
- Arranging trial visits and conducting pre-admission assessments
- Ensuring the home is safe, well-maintained, and fully CQC-compliant
- Monitoring and supporting the delivery of care and quality improvements
- Liaising with CQC inspectors and external professionals
