This UK-based company is a leading provider of vertical access solutions for various industries, including construction, oil & gas, industrial, and wind energy sectors. It specialises in the design, manufacture, and installation of hoists, elevators, and lifts used to transport personnel and materials in challenging environments.

Job Role as the Service and Installation Engineer:

  • Mixture of testing, inspection, and working to electrical drawings/schematics and diagrams
  • Carrying out installations of traction lifts, rack and pinion elevators, or wind turbine lifts
  • Emergency out-of-hours standby rota
  • LOLER Examination of lifting equipment
  • Working on prestigious buildings and high-value construction projects across the UK
  • Attend site breakdowns during the working day and while on-call, adhering to service contracts

To be successful as the Service and Installation Engineer:

  • Previous experience with construction hoists, traction lifts, rack and pinion elevators, construction lifts, wind turbine lifts, or similar
  • Have a Blue Skilled Worker Card
  • The Service and Installation Engineer role requires the ability to lift heavy equipment, work at heights, and work in confined spaces
  • Previous job roles such as traction and hydraulic lift engineer, lift engineer, service technician, Service and Installation Engineer, lift technician, installation engineer, wind turbine engineer, plant engineer, plant fitter
  • You will have previous experience installing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing vertical access equipment within the construction, green energy, and utilities industries
  • You must hold a full UK driving licence
