We are looking for a Cluster Maintenance Manager to support with the smooth running of several multifaceted Sports, Leisure and Fitness centres around Walton-on-Thames Surrey. The company is a market leader, and they offer clear development and progression opportunities across the wider business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take overarching responsibility for the day-to-day basic maintenance and fabric issues across all the leisure facilities.
  • Lead, coach and develop 2 maintenance assistants.
  • Organise and manage third party contractors in line with company procedures when necessary.
  • Manage the PPM and BMS services Schedules.
  • Ensure compliance of all health, safety and environmental policies.
  • Typically working Monday- to Friday with the occasional evening or weekend day if essential works are required.

The Person:

  • Hands-on, can-do attitude, competent at fixing a range of basic maintenance and fabric issues.
  • Facilities maintenance experience in a high-volume customer service orientated commercial building like leisure, healthcare, hotels or hospitality.
  • Already working as a Maintenance Manager/Supervisor/Technical Manager/Facilities Manager or experienced Maintenance Technician/ Maintenance Engineer ready to step up.
  • Experience and/or qualifications in plumbing, heating and ventilation, painting and decorating or electrical.
  • Proficient in using I.T. software for PPM and BMS systems and reporting.
  • Financial experience, i.e. managing maintenance budgets.
  • Pool Plant operator/ swimming pool experience is highly desirable but training could be provided if otherwise very capable.
  • Have a UK driving licence and your own vehicle to travel between centres.
