Document Controller
Context are headhunting for an experienced Document Controller to join a leading Data Centre Provider, who are experiencing significant growth due to the construction of several new Data Centres in South England.
As a Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing and organizing critical project documentation. You'll collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless document flow throughout the construction lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of project-related documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, permits, and correspondence.
- Implement version control processes to track revisions and ensure that the most up-to-date documents are accessible to relevant team members.
- Efficiently distribute documents to the appropriate parties, both internally and externally.
- Perform regular quality checks on documents to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
- Safely archive historical project documents for future reference.
- Work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and external consultants to facilitate document exchange.
- Utilize document management software (such as SharePoint, Aconex, or Procore) effectively.
Qualifications:
- Ideally, you have prior experience as a Document Controller within the construction industry. Familiarity with data center projects is a plus.
- You're meticulous when it comes to document accuracy and organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for collaborating with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Data center projects can be fast-paced; the ability to adapt and prioritize is crucial.
Hybrid based.
Paying up to 35k.
Must be eligible to work in the UK.
