We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team at a mixed secondary school in Walton-on-Thames. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong background in supporting students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), in a mainstream educational setting.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Support the learning and development of all students, with a particular focus on those with SEN.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons across various subjects.
  • Provide personal care to students when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents to enhance student learning outcomes.
  • Exhibit flexibility, proactivity, and patience in all interactions within the school environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience or a strong passion for working with individuals with SEN.
  • Educational background in Education, Care, Psychology, or Drama, which are highly transferable to this role.
