ENG Bauen, is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Designer to join a multidisciplinary engineering team. Our client, a major international organisation, is expanding to support a variety of energy and infrastructure projects that are crucial for the UK's long-term economic development.


This permanent position offers the chance to work on critical projects within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Energy sectors. The role will involve the full project lifecycle, from concept through to commissioning, and will provide significant opportunities for career progression with an industry leader known for delivering complex engineering projects across the UK and Europe.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems design within the energy or related process industries, with the ability to apply 3D modelling tools (SP3D or PDMS) to deliver high-quality design outputs. This role offers a diverse technical challenge, with opportunities to work on innovative EPC projects.




The Role:

  • Electrical design work for large-scale EPC and EPCM projects within the energy, oil & gas, and petrochemical sectors
  • Supporting projects through all phases, from conceptual design to commissioning, including both greenfield and brownfield applications
  • Managing the electrical design and control aspects within set budgets and project timelines



The Person:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSc, BEng, MSc, MEng) or equivalent qualifications
  • Proven experience delivering projects, ideally in energy, oil & gas, petrochemicals, or similar sectors
  • Strong knowledge of BS7671 18th Edition standards and electrical systems design
  • Proficiency with 3D modelling software (SP3D or PDMS preferred)
