My client is an industry-focused B2B business. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, leading company in a role dedicated to owning and managing Social Media strategy and delivery, working alongside a marketing team of eight.

Location: Hersham, Surrey. 3 days per week office based, work from home 2 days. Free parking, 15-20 minute walk from the closest train station.

Duties for Social Media Specialist:

  • Own and lead all Social Media strategies, platforms, and delivery, with support from the Marketing Executive and the Marketing Manager in the team.
  • Manage social media project timelines, resources, and budget.
  • Work with existing tech stack (HubSpot, Canva, Asana) and make recommendations to evolve social technology.
  • Liaise with internal department leads to gather insights on current topics and content.
  • Stay in touch with the latest news aligned to the industry and drive creative social content on current affairs.
  • Plan and execute B2B social media campaigns via LinkedIn, and Instagram, and share on other platforms.
  • Define social media communication strategy and drive new and improved engagement with desired audiences.
  • Manage social media posting liaising with the marketing and creative team members.
  • Manage campaign launches and timelines, ROI, and data-driven improvements through optimization.
  • Define and track campaign metrics to ensure business impact is measured.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Marketing Director, and internal department leads.
  • Communicate campaign strategy and results with stakeholders

The ideal Social Media Specialist will have:

  • Previous experience in a dedicated social media specialist position
  • Experience managing social media channels as the sole social media specialist in a B2B industry
  • Experience working with internal stakeholders in gathering insights for social content
  • Expertise especially in managing social media on LinkedIn and Instagram (B2B)
  • Creative mind and comfortable recommending and driving new social media strategies and campaigns
  • Experience managing/adopting social media management technologies
  • Exceptional social media project management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to create social media campaigns that result in conversations and engagement from target audiences
  • Passion to make a difference
