Description
Payroll Administrator (Full-time, or Part-time):
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Payroll team in all relevant areas of the payroll processing.
- Process all new starters on Access, recording RTW and ensuring signed contracts are in place.
- Data Security and confidentiality
- Support the Payroll team by providing cover in absences.
- Maintain good health and safety awareness
- Adhere to all guidelines and rules in the staff handbook
Roles and Tasks:
- Manage accurate data on Access
- Record on Payroll system absence calendar all sickness absences
- Liaise with HR, site administrators and department heads.
- Maintenance of staff records
- Refer any operational issues to Payroll Manager
- Perform relevant related duties as requested by your line manager and Senior Management Team.
Profile
A successful Payroll Administrator (Full-time, or Part-time) should have:
- A solid understanding of payroll principles and practices.
- Proficiency in the use of payroll software. (ACCESS experience would be highly advantageous)
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of relevant payroll legislation.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with colleagues and resolving queries.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
