Description

Payroll Administrator (Full-time, or Part-time):

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Payroll team in all relevant areas of the payroll processing.
  • Process all new starters on Access, recording RTW and ensuring signed contracts are in place.
  • Data Security and confidentiality
  • Support the Payroll team by providing cover in absences.
  • Maintain good health and safety awareness
  • Adhere to all guidelines and rules in the staff handbook

Roles and Tasks:

  • Manage accurate data on Access
  • Record on Payroll system absence calendar all sickness absences
  • Liaise with HR, site administrators and department heads.
  • Maintenance of staff records
  • Refer any operational issues to Payroll Manager
  • Perform relevant related duties as requested by your line manager and Senior Management Team.

Profile

A successful Payroll Administrator (Full-time, or Part-time) should have:

  • A solid understanding of payroll principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in the use of payroll software. (ACCESS experience would be highly advantageous)
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of relevant payroll legislation.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with colleagues and resolving queries.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
