Job Title: Payroll Specialist

Salary: £37,000

Job Location: Hersham twice a week and once a week in London Kensington

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am- 5:30pm with hybrid options

Role Overview:

The opportunity to support the payroll team for a luxurious high-end brand has arisen. You will be reporting to the highly experienced and impressive head of payroll.

You will be responsible for certain brands, processing the payroll from start to finish for up to 2,000 employees in primarily in the UK but also in other locations too.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process statutory payments including SSP, SMP, SPP and SAP
  • Time and attendance
  • Answering all queries
  • Processing payroll from start to finish
  • Manage tax and pension
  • Ensure compliance with current pension regulations and maintain accurate records.
  • Stay up to date with changes in payroll legislation
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll and pension processes

Key Qualities and Experience:

  • Strong payroll experience in a similar role for 3+ years
  • Tax knowledge
  • Experienced processing statutory payments - SSP, SMP, SPP and SAP (You need to be able to sense check this)
  • Proficient in payroll software, MS Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Enthusiastic, eager to learn, works well in a fast-paced environment, has a creative mindset and enjoys a challenge
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work
