Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality REĀ lessons that align with the national curriculum and cater to the needs and abilities of students.
  • Teach a range of RE subjects,Ā 
  • Engage students in the exploration of RE, fostering their critical analysis, interpretation, and appreciation of diverse genres and authors.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technology to engage students in interactive and stimulating learning experiences.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and guide their development towards achieving language and literacy targets.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting equality, diversity, and mutual respect among students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in REĀ or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an REĀ teacher in a secondary school, with a strong track record of student achievement and engagement.
  • Thorough knowledge of the national curriculum requirements for REĀ and familiarity with examination board specifications.
