Position: Learning Support Assistant
Walton-on-Thames
Full-time, Permanent
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to primary-aged children
- Implement individualised learning plans in collaboration with the teaching team
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with classroom activities and ensure the well-being of each child
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support overall child development
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with SEN children or as a Learning Support Assistant, especially those with additional needs, would be ideal but not essential
- Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or related fields
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse needs
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and provide tailored support
