We are thrilled to be recruiting for our global manufacturing client as they look to add to their incredible Technical Specialists Team for a construction sales specialist to work with their clients who are looking for technical support and guidance on fabricated products for their project.

Your New Role

You will be responsible for KPI sales targets and divisional external sales teams by ensuring all incoming product enquiries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner

You will be responsible for providing technical, specification and applications advice on our product range and to continuously update divisional sales & customer service teams on product/system, designs

and pricing. You will also act as an advisory service including system specification/building physics/applications and maintenance on our Fabricated product range.

This role will see you generating high volume sales results by utilising technical skills & converting sales opportunities for divisional customers in line with KPI’s laid down for the FSL business, whilst communicating with customers professionally by telephone/email on technical application of our product range.

What will you be doing?

  • Generating sales opportunities for UK projects, by phone & email.
  • Give feedback on customer comments on level of prices to Manager to allow us to continually monitor our competitiveness in the UK market.
  • Enter project and specification information into our project tracking system – Salesforce.
  • Utilise our internal online ordering system Easy Order or Excel price book to help generate and follow up and convert quote to sales.
  • Upselling Fabrication products onto panel opportunities.
  • Working as part of the fabrications team and those from other key departments.
  • Utilising problem-solving skills to find the best price for the customer when nonstandards are requested. Along with demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Independently organising, prioritising and managing workload.
  • Maintaining calm under pressure.
  • Submit & present weekly report on market activity v’s order intake v’s market volume... Including feedback on any given targeted products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service Operating in compliance with ISO 37301, 45001, 14001, 9001, 50001, and Code of

Conduct.

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • A High level of technical experience in the application of construction products.
  • A proven sales track record of being a highly motivated individual, high achiever, goal driven with good Leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of the various types of cladding systems used on both roof and wall applications.
  • Ability to work on their own initiative and to strict deadlines and KPI’s.
  • An excellent telephone manner.
  • ‘Can do’ attitude, get things done, persistent and never ever gives up.
  • Continually looking to develop oneself.
  • Champion the customer’s requirements at all times.
  • Be enthusiastic, effective, passionate, and productive. Show dedication to the job in hand and work hard to deliver it efficiently.

Contractual Benefits

  • 39 hours Monday to Thursday 8.15 – 5.00 and Friday 8.15 – 4.00
  • £30,000 plus bonuses
  • Pension
  • 24 days annual leave
