Job Title: Systems Technician
Location: Swindon
Pay Range/details: £37,000 to £42,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
Omega Resource are now supporting a well-known and globally recognised specialist within the oil and gas industry. This company are recognised leaders in designing, developing, and manufacturing equipment for onshore and offshore applications. A Systems Technician will build and integrate mechanical and electronic components for In-Line Inspection equipment and conduct tests on assembled systems to ensure functionality and performance standards are met.
Key Responsibilities – Systems Technician
- Build and integrate mechanical and electronic components for In-Line Inspection equipment.
- Conduct tests on assembled systems to ensure functionality and performance standards are met.
- Diagnose and repair any mechanical or electronic problems in ILI systems.
- Perform regular maintenance to ensure the longevity and reliability of ILI systems.
- Record assembly procedures, modifications, and test results accurately.
- Work with engineering and field teams to ensure proper installation and operation of ILI equipment.
- Ensure smooth and secure operations of computer and network systems, regularly performing maintenance and troubleshooting issues.
Qualifications & Requirements – Systems Technician
- HNC or HND in an engineering discipline.
- Basic understanding of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within Electronic Technology,
- Can use hand tools and power tools proficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices using schematics and drawings.
