This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and driven Office Manager to join a rapidly growing/well established organisation

Our client is a not-for-profit financial institution, whose goal is to give back to their members by providing ethical finance to those in need. Established for almost 25 years they serve people who all share a common bond.

They’re looking for an Office Manager with great organisation, time management, and attention to details to manage the day-to-day operations of the organisation. This role will involve all aspects of office and organisational management for a small, ethical finance organisation (as detailed in the bullet points below) and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work independently and really influence and manage an organisation themselves.

The role

Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Bank returns
  • Industry training
  • Liaise with members, directors, auditors, and solicitors, credit committee, treasurer, etc…
  • Day-to-day auditing – withdrawal, loans, payroll, etc…
  • Year-end audit
  • Pay members
  • Liaise with board of directors
  • Manage volunteers and part-time admin assistant and their workload, annual leave, sickness, overtime, etc…
  • When admin assistant is not available, dealing with incoming communications and enquiries
  • Managing the electronic system
  • Assisting in quarterly/month-end reporting
  • Ad hoc administration tasks such as setting up new members and dealing with the code of conduct & confidentiality statement for new volunteers
  • Face to face, email, and telephone customer service
  • Filing and photocopying
  • Responsible for the health and safety of the office
