Pay Rate: 12.50 - 13.00 per hour depending on experience.

Our Client:

A successful manufacturing company working across a range of industries across the UK. Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Driver/Labourer to join their dynamic team. This position involves operating a forklift and performing general labor duties in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a forklift to move materials and products throughout the warehouse
Load and unload trucks, and stack and store items in designated areas
Assist with general labor tasks such as packaging, assembly, and inventory control
Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and other warehouse equipment
Update the computerised Warehouse Management System
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace

Qualifications:

Valid forklift certification and/or prior experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting
Demonstrated ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor tasks
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Computer literate and able to confidently enter data into the computerised system
Flexibility to work in a variety of warehouse environments and adapt to changing priorities

Day-to-day:

Operate forklift to transport materials and products
Assist with loading and unloading trucks
Perform general labor duties such as packaging and inventory control
Communicate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse
