We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Kitchen Manager at our newly refurbished town centre pub. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a fast-paced kitchen, delivering exceptional meals while assisting in the training and development of kitchen staff. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.
  • Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff to enhance their skills and maintain high standards.
  • Maintain hygiene and safety regulations in accordance with EHO 5-star standards.
  • Execute cooking orders during busy meal services, prioritizing efficiency and quality.
  • Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and optimizing food costs while minimizing waste.
  • Foster clear communication with both back and front of house teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Address any kitchen issues promptly and efficiently to maintain smooth service.
  • Ensure all food items are stored, prepared, and served according to recipes and portion standards.
  • Oversee proper handling of kitchen equipment and hazardous materials, ensuring staff safety.
  • Take pride in maintaining standards across the board
