We seek a committed Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to become part of our local nursery team in Wantage, delivering outstanding care to children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). In the role of a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will be instrumental in molding young minds and nurturing their growth.
Role Details:
- Location: Wantage, Oxfordshire
- Position: Full-Time, Contract to Perm
- Pay: 83.50 - 90 per day
- Start Date: September or after October half term.
About the Role:
As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 0 to 5 years. Your role will involve planning engaging activities, monitoring developmental progress, and creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate activities for EYFS children
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining detailed records
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and engaging
- Support children's emotional and social development
Requirements:
- Essential: Level 3 Qualification in Childcare
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an EYFS role
- Knowledge: Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Preferred: Driving licence (for travel within Wantage)
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Requirement: Enhanced DBS check (or readiness to obtain)
