Reed Accountancy Oxfordshire are partnering with a Wantage based organisation who are seeking a diligent and experienced Credit Controller to join our finance team on a temporary basis for 4-6 weeks with a strong chance of this becoming a permanant position paying an hourly rate of up to £15.838! This is a FULLY REMOTE role, however will need you to pop in the office for the odd meeting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Debt Collection: Proactively contact clients to collect outstanding payments and resolve any issues or disputes.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile client accounts and ensure all payments are accurately recorded.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on the status of outstanding debts and provide updates to the finance manager.
  • Customer Service: Maintain positive relationships with clients while effectively managing debt recovery.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities and communications.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of credit control processes and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
