Teaching Assistant - Wantage Details:

  • Location: Wantage, OX12
  • Position: Full-Time, Monday - Friday (08:30am - 3:30pm)
  • Contract: Temp to Permanent
  • Start Date: September 2024 (or ASAP)
  • Pay: £83.50 - £90 per day

About the Role: Join our dedicated team to support a diverse group of KS1/KS2 students in their classroom activities and development. Your role will involve assisting teachers with lesson delivery, supporting individual and small group learning, and contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom support to students, including one-on-one assistance as needed
  • Help with planning and preparing learning materials
  • Support the Primary student behavioral and emotional needs
  • Assist in creating a supportive and engaging classroom atmosphere

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students and colleagues
  • Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
