Teaching Assistant - Wantage

KS2

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant - Wantage to join a local primary school's KS2 team.

Working closely with fellow KS2 staff, students and parents you will ensure high-quality care and education for children in the school's EYFS, promoting a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment. The role will be supporting students with Autism, challenging behaviours and other SEN, they struggle to sit independently and follow the class teacher.

Pay - £83.50 - £90 per day (per day)

Working patterns - Monday to Friday (term time only)

Hours - 08:30am - 3:30pm.

School Location - Onsite OX12

Teaching Assistant - Wantage :

  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred)
  • Experience in supporting children aged 5 - 11 years old in a school/club (it can be voluntary work).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with up-to-date knowledge of relevant policies and procedures.
  • You must hold already or williness to get an enhanced DBS certificate
