Morson Talent are working with a leading F1 Team based in Oxfordshire to recruit number of Permenant Composite Laminators and Trimmers to join their team and contribute to the success of our client.

Location: Oxfordshire

Hours/Shift: Variety of shift available,

Rate: Circa £50-£55K

As a Composite Laminator, you will play a critical role in the production of advanced composite components for motorsport/aerospace applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare composite materials and moulds for lamination.
  • Hand lay-up of pre-preg composite materials.
  • Ensure the correct orientation and number of plies for each component.
  • Vacuum bag components and check for leaks.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Composite Laminator within the motorsport, aerospace, or related industries.
  • Familiarity with composite materials and processes.
  • Proficiency in composite layup techniques and autoclave processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, defect-free components.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work with high precision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Ability to work to deadlines

Job Description:

As a Composite Fitter, your role is crucial in ensuring that composite components are accurately manufactured. You will be responsible for trimming, fitting, and assembling composite components to the highest standards, working in alignment with industry specifications and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Previous experience in trimming, fitting, assembly, and installation of composite parts in motorsport and aerospace systems.
  • Use hand and power tools to trim, shape, and adjust composite components as required.
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to troubleshoot and resolve fitting issues.
  • Maintain detailed records of fitting procedures and any adjustments made.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Composite Fitter/Trimmer in the motorsport, aerospace, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of composite materials and their properties.
