Description

Key responsibilities of the Account Manager include:

  • Identifying new opportunities to grow the companies cybersecurity business within an existing customer account base
  • Proactively follow up leads generated
  • Manage the database to a high degree of accuracy to ensure targeted marketing activity can take place to generate new business
  • Work closely with the marketing team to achieve agreed objectives
  • Liaise effectively with all departments within the company to ensure that customer requirements are met
  • Contribute to the team performance by sharing and implementing best practice ideas
  • Providing quotations to clients
  • Working to targets and KPIs set

Profile

The successful Account Manager will have:

  • Previous experience working within a sales environment (preferably within a business development/proactive role)
  • IT/Telecoms/Security/Cybersecurity industry experience is highly desirable
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • High degree of accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload
  • Must be able to deal with technical product information
  • Ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate effectively at all levels within and outside the organisation
