Day-to-day of the role:

  • Source and procure components and services, balancing lead time, quality, and cost.
  • Negotiate favourable terms with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Process purchase orders and manage supplier relationships.
  • Handle non-conformances efficiently to minimise production delays.
  • Maintain accurate purchase records and conduct supplier audits.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Create new contracts and manage tender processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Substantial procurement experience gained in automotive sector
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and manufacturing techniques.
  • Proven ability to manage a large and dynamic order book.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
