Our client is a highly reputable construction company base near Wantage. They have gone from strength to strength and experiencing organic growth. Our client prides themselves in providing a range Construction service to their clients and has a brand reputation of second to none. Due to securing NEW exciting commercial projects, they are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking, and experienced Construction Estimator on a Full Time Permanent basis. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects including agricultural, commercial and industrial upto £5m in value.
Hybrid working option available (3 office/2 home)
Construction Estimator role:
- Manage tender processes from initial review to final submission for multimillion pound commercial projects as an Construction Estimator
- Conduct take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities.
- Consult with the sub-contractor supply chain to ensure competitive pricing.
- Analyse and assess quotations for compliance and value as an Construction Estimator
- Present bids to Senior Management for review.
- Prioritise workload when working multiple commercial projects.
- To ensure estimates are tracked and submitted accurately within set time constraints.
- To follow up estimates for analysis, audit, and review
- Provide a great professional customer service to clients within the private and public sectors as an Construction Estimator and be customer focussed.
