Location: Wantage, Oxfordshire 

Salary: £48k - £50k (DOE) + Excellent Benefits

Job Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday

The Client:

Our client is a well-established accountancy firm, offering comprehensive financial solutions tailored to meet diverse needs.

The Role:

As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will be preparing client accounts, undertaking audits, and managing tax returns.

Responsibilities:

• Provide input on personal tax returns.
• Prepare year-end journals for clients' accountancy systems.
• Handle VAT calculations and returns.
• Produce management accounts within deadlines.
• Conduct client meetings as needed.
• Support and develop junior team members.
• Identify additional value opportunities for clients.

Requirements:

• Previously worked as an Audit Senior, Accounts Senior or in a similar role.
• At least 1-3 years of practice experience.
• Minimum 1 year of audit experience.
• Possess ACA / ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Understanding of practice-based accountancy.
• Skilled in IT.
• Strong team working and communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK.
