Seeking a recent graduate within the last 5 years, to hold a BSc in Biology, Chemistry, Pyschology, Criminology, Counselling or other academic degrees such as BA in Maths. To have a minimum 2:1.

This is your opportunity to develop and pave your career, perfect for any Graudate Teaching Support that has a strong interest in childcare and acedemic careers. You can take this role multiple ways, 1 - work towards your NVQs in Teaching Assistant or 2 - progress to be a QTS teacher, after picking up vital classroom expereince.

You as the Graudate Teaching Support:

  • Getting the Wantage classroom ready for lessons and clearing away afterwards so as to maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Assisting Teachers in preparing the lesson materials and school equipment
  • Recording and reporting a pupil's progress to the Teacher
  • Helping pupils stay focused during class hours
  • Supervising group activities, sports events and school outings
  • Helping Wantage Teachers manage student behaviour
  • Looking after children who are unwell or upset
  • Providing a healthy and safe learning environment for children

The class, year group and key stage is up for dicussion, the Wantage mainstream primary wants to see where your natural skills lie. Please do raise your preference from EYFS, KS1, KS2 in your interview.

Experience within tutoring, babysitting or work experience in nurseries or primary schools are vital, I look forward to reading your CV.
