SEN Classroom Support - Wantage

A Specialist School located in Wantage are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join them in a long-term position starting ASAP.

  • The students in this school struggle with a range of additional needs. These include Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome and learning difficulties.
  • As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your main duties will involve working directly with SEN students in the classroom.
  • You will be supported by the class teacher while you provide support to the students either on a 1:1 basis or in a group setting.
  • You will also be involved in helping manage behaviour, track student progress and academic success.
  • You will be an integral part of helping these students build on and improve their life skills as well as provide emotional and social support.
