We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping students succeed academically and develop their skills. This role involves working closely with children, including those with special educational needs, to provide tailored support that fosters their learning and growth.
HOURS: 10 Hours Per Week
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in various subjects.
- Develop personalised lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of each student.
- Communicate effectively with students to explain concepts clearly and encourage engagement.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support student development.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes confidence and curiosity.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and parents.
- Experience working with children who have special educational needs is highly desirable.
- A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in students.
- Ability to educate students using various teaching methods tailored to their learning styles.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate students in their academic pursuits.
