Quattro Resourcing have a fantastic opportunity for a 7.5t Driver (C1+E), with trailer, on a full-time basis from early 2024!
Position:7.5t Driver (With C1+E category) with trailer.
Location:Colne, Cambridgeshire
Schedule:Monday to Friday including overtime and weekend availability.
Weekends, Bank Holidays & Overtime:As per company requirements.
- Safely operate a 7.5 tonne (with trailer) vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated locations, such as local events.
- Load and unload stock using equipment provided, ensuring proper handling and securing of items in transit.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery notes and logbooks
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
Required Skills;
- Valid C1 (7.5 Tonne) license with appropriate category for driving a 7.5-tonne vehicles with a trailer.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with a focus on delivery services
- Excellent driving skills, including the ability to manoeuvre through various road and traffic conditions
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and safe handling of goods to be delivered/collected.
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues in a professional manner
