Ideal for an Aspiring Assistant Psychologist in the Ware area with a Psychology or Health and Social Care Graduate before you decide on committing to an MSc/Doctorate and Research Project.

As an Aspiring Assistant Psychologist this role will allow you to see a range of therapists, SEN, ABA Tutors & Mental health specialists at work.

  • This role is all about giving the children a sense of purpose. Can you make the children's lives just that little bit better?
  • Intermediate learning levels, a tailored curriculum for each student
  • Focus on learning need and Autism, delivering key and personal/functional skills
  • 55 students, classes of 6-8ranging on ability
  • 460-500 per week
  • Monday to Friday, 8.30 to 15:30

What is required for this role in the education and training sector?

  • An Undergraduate Degree (preferable) and/or previous SEN experience, ideal for Criminology and Psychology Graduates
  • An interest in mental health and Autism
  • Knowledge, keen interest or understanding of the range of different types of learning and behavioural needs (SEMH elements of the provision)
  • Local Commute to Ware
