Van Driver

Premier Recruit are currently recruiting for 5 Van Driver / Drainage Operatives on a Temp to Perm basis for our client who are a Drainage Contractor based in Ware, Hertfordshire and working in conjunction with Thames Water. We can offer an almost immediate start to successful applicants.

You will be working as part of a 2-person team unblocking drains outside properties and on the public highway. This is dirty and physical work but will be a secure position working on behalf of a National Utilities Company so there is good long term job security.

All Personal Protective Equipment will be provided for the role. No experience is needed for the role as We will provide you with the best training for this job and this means your first two days at work will be at the Head Office in Slough before you commence work at the Ware Depot.

This position is a 12 week Temporary to Permanent contract and following the Temporary period this will result in a permanent position if successful.

Pay rates for the first 12 weeks are £11.50 -£17.25

Please note this is a 4 On 4 Off Days/Lates role:

Week 1 07:00 19:00

Week 2 11:00 23:00

I also have another role for a van driver to be put onto a 12/2 shift , this means that you work Monday to Friday days and then have to work every other weekend which is paid very well with extra bonuses.

• A can do attitude and are not afraid of physical work.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Driving Licence (no more than 6 penalty points)
